SlaterWatts Lawyers (formerly known as Slater & Elias Lawyers) was founded in 1991 by Rod Slater and Peter Elias. Over the years, SlaterWatts Lawyers has established itself as the trusted partner of many large and small operators across the property and the liquor, gaming and hospitality industry in NSW.

Our Principal, Ryan Watts, was admitted on 10 December 2012 after completing his work experience at a Sydney law firm. Ryan joined SlaterWatts Lawyers in October 2012 and was promoted to partner of the firm within three years. Ryan worked closely with the firm’s founder Rod Slater until Rod’s passing in 2016. Through his collaborative approach, Ryan has become an invaluable advisor, offering strategic guidance to our extensive client base.
